What kind of wood do you use?
We primarily work with reclaimed hardwoods like oak, walnut, and maple. Much of our material is salvaged from storm-downed trees, deconstructed buildings, or locally sourced urban lumber. Each piece is chosen for its character, history, and structural integrity.
Can I bring you wood from my own tree?
Absolutely! In fact, we love it. If you have a tree with personal significance—one that came down in a storm or has been on your property for generations—we can often mill and incorporate it into a custom piece. Gary (our in-house arborist) will help assess its suitability.
Do you offer fully custom designs?
Yes. Every piece we build is one-of-a-kind. We work closely with you to understand your needs, space, and style, and then design something that fits—functionally and artistically. Whether it’s a dining table, a built-in bench, or a sculptural installation, it's tailored from the ground up.
How long does a project typically take?
Most custom pieces take 6 to 10 weeks, depending on design complexity and current workload. We’ll give you a realistic timeline up front—and keep you updated throughout the build process.
Do you deliver or install?
Yes. We offer local delivery and on-site installation for larger pieces or built-ins. For smaller projects or long-distance orders, we can arrange white-glove shipping with trusted partners.
